Tool Results and Measurement Limitations

Hearing Tests and Audio Safety
The Online Hearing Test is an educational screening tool, not a clinical audiogram. It cannot diagnose hearing loss, tinnitus, an ear condition or another medical issue. Results may be affected by your headphones, device, volume settings, background noise and listening environment.
Tone generators and hearing-related tools can produce audible signals. Begin at a low, comfortable volume and stop immediately if you experience pain, pressure, dizziness, ringing or discomfort. Do not use generated tones to test the limits of your hearing.
